Is it free to meet Santa Claus at Santa Claus Office?
Yes. Meeting Santa Claus at Santa Claus Office in Santa Claus Village, Rovaniemi, is free of charge.
You do not need an entrance ticket or advance booking for the regular meeting. Simply arrive during our opening hours and join the queue to meet Santa Claus.
Do I need to book my visit with Santa Claus beforehand?
No advance booking is needed for the regular meeting with Santa Claus. Visitors can arrive during our opening hours and join the queue.
If you prefer a pre-booked private meeting with Santa Claus without the regular queue, you can book our Christmas Express Pass.

How does visiting Santa Claus Office work during the busiest season?
Mid-November until early January is the busiest time of year at Santa Claus Office.
During the busiest days, you need to collect a free Entrance Time from one of our Elves at the small red cabin near the entrance of Santa Claus Office, by the Arctic Circle line.
We recommend collecting your Entrance Time as early in the day as possible. Especially in December, the available Entrance Times can fill up during the day, and on some days there may be no more times available after midday.
Please note that your Entrance Time is not the time when you will meet Santa Claus. It is the time when you should arrive at the Santa Claus Office lobby and join the queue inside.
Once you have collected your Entrance Time, you are free to enjoy Santa Claus Village while you wait. You can visit shops, restaurants or enjoy an activity with our Elf friends at Santa Claus Safaris before returning to Santa Claus Office.
Please arrive at the lobby at the time shown on your Entrance Time slip and show it to the Elf at the entrance.
After entering, there is a queue before meeting Santa Claus. During the busiest season, we recommend allowing approximately one hour for this part of the visit.
During this time of year, Santa Claus welcomes a very large number of families each day. Each family meets Santa Claus individually, and the meeting is a short but personal moment.
If your family prefers a reserved private meeting without the regular queue, you can book the Christmas Express Pass in advance.
Can I book a private meeting with Santa Claus?
Yes. Santa Claus Office offers a private pre-booked meeting with Santa Claus through the Christmas Express Pass.
The Christmas Express Pass gives your family a reserved meeting time with Santa Claus without waiting in the regular queue. The experience includes approximately five minutes with Santa Claus, as well as digital photos and video of your meeting.
The Christmas Express Pass is available for families of up to eight people.

Can I skip the queue to meet Santa Claus?
Yes. If your family would like to meet Santa Claus at a reserved time without waiting in the regular queue, you can book the Christmas Express Pass.
The regular meeting with Santa Claus remains free of charge and does not require advance booking.

How long do I have to wait to meet Santa Claus?
Waiting times vary depending on the season, time of day and number of visitors.
During the busiest season, especially in December, we recommend allowing approximately one hour for the queue inside Santa Claus Office.
During quieter periods of the year, waiting times are usually much shorter.
What is the best time to visit Santa Claus Office?
Santa Claus Office welcomes visitors every day of the year, and meeting Santa Claus is always free of charge.
If you prefer a more relaxed visit, the quietest months are from April to September.
During the winter season, visitors should be prepared for queues, especially in December, which is our busiest month of the year.
In winter, we generally recommend visiting later in the day, closer to our closing time, when Santa Claus Office is often quieter than earlier in the day.

Can I meet Santa Claus in summer?
Yes. Santa Claus and the Elves welcome visitors at Santa Claus Office every day of the year, including during the summer.
Summer at the Arctic Circle offers a very different experience from winter, with brighter days, fewer crowds and the Midnight Sun season.

Opening hours vary by season, so we recommend checking our current opening hours before your visit.
Where is Santa Claus Office located?
Santa Claus Office is located right on the Central Square of Santa Claus Village, directly by the Arctic Circle line in Rovaniemi, Finland.
You will find us in the very heart of Santa Claus Village.
Can I take photos or videos during my meeting with Santa Claus?
Personal photography and filming are not permitted inside Santa Claus’s room. This includes mobile phones, cameras and other recording devices.
Our Photographer Elves photograph and film your meeting with Santa Claus, allowing everyone in your family to enjoy the experience together.
After the meeting, you can view the photos and video and choose whether you would like to purchase them.
Can I buy photos or video of my meeting with Santa Claus?
Yes. Our Photographer Elves take photos and video during your meeting with Santa Claus.
After the meeting, you can view the material and choose the products you would like to purchase.

How can I download my photos with Santa Claus and the video of my meeting?
You can download your purchased photos with Santa Claus and the video of your meeting through our website.
Open My Photos & Videos and enter your email address and the Elf Code you received during your visit to Santa Claus Office. Use the download links to save your photos and video to your device and enjoy the memories of your meeting with Santa whenever you wish.

Can Santa Claus give a present to my child during the meeting?
Yes. You can purchase a surprise gift for Santa Claus to give to your child during the meeting.
You can buy the gift in advance from our online shop or purchase one at Santa Claus Office just before your meeting.
Please note that personal gifts brought from outside Santa Claus Office cannot be given to Santa Claus to hand out during the meeting.
Can groups visit Santa Claus Office?
Yes. Groups are welcome to visit Santa Claus Office.
For larger groups, tour operators and organised visits, we recommend contacting us in advance so that we can help you plan the visit as smoothly as possible.

Is Santa Claus Office accessible for visitors with disabilities or special needs?
Yes. Santa Claus Office welcomes visitors with different accessibility needs.
If you need assistance during your visit, please speak with one of our Elves when you arrive. Arrangements are considered based on individual needs and the situation at the time of your visit.
Do I need a ticket to enter Santa Claus Office?

Yes. Meeting Santa Claus is free of charge, and there is no obligation to purchase photos or video.
After your meeting, you can view the material taken by our Photographer Elves and decide whether you would like to purchase any products.
What activities can I do in Santa Claus Village?
Our Elves recommend Santa Claus Safaris for easy and fun activities during your visit to Santa Claus Village.
Santa Claus Safaris offers short, Elf-guided experiences in and around Santa Claus Village. Depending on the season, you can enjoy husky and reindeer encounters, snowmobile adventures and other playful Christmas-themed activities with Santa’s Elves.
The experiences are easy to combine with your visit to Santa Claus Office and the rest of Santa Claus Village.
